The Edge

Never will the understanding
Of all life's mysteries,
Rest within my chilled hands.
Cerebral,
Upheaval,
Body shaking,
Skin tingling.
The blood coarsing within my veins
Sings a song to an inaudible tune -
Humming echoes inside.
This is a feeling I will always remember.
