This is Me

If you happen to stumble upon this, I thought you deserved to know a little more about me than the rambling presented to you on the other page.

Who Am I?
-The ever persistent question, unanswerable in reality. But instead, I can reveal what I am all about, aspects of me.
I'm 21, and a typical woman in college. I study English, despite my excessive use of the comma. I live in Houston, TX with my best friend and roommate. I have three tattoos (two flowers and an excerpt from e.e. cummings) and plan on at least one more: a hummingbird. Nerdy and lame things enthrall me, such as adorable robots and Harry Potter musicians.

Why am I writing a blog? (Subtitled: Especially because no one will ever read this thing.)
-The main reason: I need an outlet. There are so many things I think, see, and write down upon scraps of paper that I can't utter to those around me. Not for fear of judgment, but fear of intimacy. These things are things that strike me, but I feel as if they are meant more for the world of anonymity than coffeeshop discussions. Because of it's vast and cold nature, I feel more comfortable sharing these things to the internet than with friends. Only a few I know have access to this blog. This is of course, how many feel. That, and I like the idea of having things down in a semi-permanent manner that will possibly last longer than I do. It's easier than trying to write something to get published!

----So here's some basic info on me. If you read, I want to thank you for doing so. It means a lot to me. If you're just passing by, thanks for coming along! I hope I've made you think a little bit, and if not, at least passed the time in a way that was better than what you were previously doing.
